Celebrate Aging

You’re a confident, independent woman in the prime of your life. You’re successful and well-respected, and you enjoy your life immensely. You’re proud of the skills you’ve earned and what you’ve achieved with that knowledge.

And you are – irrevocably – aging alone.

Our generation of women often finds themselves aging alone. We’re divorced or widowed or we’ve always lived single. Whether or not we planned to live alone, what many of us are realizing is that living alone also means aging alone.

That prospect is starting to seem frightening.

You may have seen other women you know, women you have respected, loved, and admired, growing old alone. These were independent and intelligent women, just like yourself, and yet their experiences of aging weren’t always the best. Some of them were absolutely terrible.

You want more than that for yourself.

As you grow older, you want to remain in charge. You want to do it your way and you want the people surrounding you to play by your rules.

The trouble is, you’re not sure what your rules are yet. Your mind is full of questions and you’re looking for the answers.

  • Where and how do you want to live as you grow older?
  • How will you grow old alone without ending up old and alone (and vulnerable, destitute, isolated, dependent, and everything else you can imagine)?
  • How will you grow older depending on friends, family, children, caregivers without losing your independence?
  • How will you stay confident as you age? How will you deal with a society that doesn’t know how to value its elders?
  • How will you handle your feelings about aging alone?
  • How will you make your aging count?

I can help.  In my work as an aging coach, I’ve seen women from every possible background work through difficult feelings and beliefs about aging alone. I know what it takes to deal with the fears and uncertainties aging brings. You are not alone.

Together, we’ll figure out your own aging process. We’ll make the rules that work for you – your rules. We’ll bring you to a place where you find you are approaching your aging with wisdom, strength and confidence, not fear.

You’ve lived thus far as a strong, independent woman. There’s no reason you shouldn’t continue feeling confident and empowered as you age.

You can. I can help.
